Naoko Ito studied in metal sculpture and printmaking at Ecole Nationals Superieure des Arts Visuels, Brussels, Belgium after graduated from Kyoto City University of the Arts in lacquer.
After finishing the program in Belgium, Ito had taught at Kindai University in printmaking until 2020. She opened her own studio at the time of retirement. Now she is making art pieces at Atellier Outotsu in Nishinomiya City, as well as her own studio in Itami City.
At the moment, spring in 2021, her works extend more than 1243 pieces in lacquer and more than 292 pieces in printmaking.
